Journey's Truly Unique Approach to America's Canyonlands, National Parks and the Grand Canyon. This itinerary combines hotel stays in perfectly located spots throughout America's Canyonlands - from Moab to Zion and everything in between - with the expertise of our Journey Tour Directors and Local Guides.

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Your arrival to Moab
Your flight Moab Canyonlands Airport (airport code: CNY). Or you can opt to fly into Grand Junction, Colorado, (airport code: GJT) and you should land on Day 1 of the itinerary. Your round-trip travel time on this Journey is 10 Days (10 Days, 9 Nights Land). The trip ends in Las Vegas (airport code: LAS). Airfare is not included. Your airport arrival transfer from Moab (20 minutes) or Grand Junction (1: 45 minutes) is included.

CONSIDER EXPANDING THE JOURNEY - Consider our Early Arrival Option into Moab or Grand Junction, Colorado (airport)
Many of our travelers arrive a "full day early" into Moab. May we also suggest experiencing 1, 2 or 3 days and nights in Grand Junction, Colorado, and take in the Colorado National Monument, and taste some of the local and amazing wine produced in western Colorado. Inquire for details.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO MOAB, GATEWAY TO AMERICA'S CANYONLANDS

Your Journey begins in Moab, Utah, with included transfer to our hotel in the Moab area. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel with our included transfer and enjoy leisure time until our afternoon activity and evening reception and dinner.

Discovery Walk: Moab
Meet your Journey Tour Director at the hotel for an introductory walk through the interesting town of Moab. We stroll along the main street of Moab and take in the vibe of the region.

Walking on Your Journey
We enjoy walking the streets, and uneven land that is the American southwest —  plan to be on your feet for up to 3 hours while we explore. It is also necessary to be able to climb steps onto our coaches and other vehicles. Our pace is unhurried but you must be physically capable of walking.

Welcome to Moab Dinner
Tonight join your Tour Director for a special Welcome Reception where we toast the beginning of our journey together. Then we proceed to dinner to enjoy amazing cuisine inspired from the region. Tonight's welcome dinner is included for both Deluxe and Classic packages.

Journey's approach to dining is unique in the travel world. We dine in small, family-owned restaurants with regional dishes wherever available. We include Premium Beverages (wine, cocktails, soft drinks) and you choose your dinner from the menu.

DAY 2: EXPLORING CANYONLANDS AND ARCHES NATIONAL PARKS by 4WD

After a delicious breakfast (included table service or buffet; continental breakfast in Classic hotel), we board our comfortable but capable four-wheel drive vehicles for the short drive to the entrance to Canyonlands National Park to commence the day's adventure.

Today's Adventure: Discoveries Canyonlands & Arches National Parks
Our adventure today includes admission to both National Parks, and our amazing journey via 4WD. These stunning parks are known for the majestic space that stretches on and on.

Later today we return to our hotel for the balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 3: MOAB AT LEISURE

By design we have made today completely at your leisure. And one activity we think is exhilarating is the UTV Guided Tour of the nearby massive sandstone —  truly epic, but not for the faint of heart! You can even drive the UTV if you prefer. Inquire for details.

DAY 4: CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK

Today we will make our way to Bryce Canyon by way of Capitol Reef National Park.

We enjoy a scenic drive through Capitol Reef National Park and then stop to enjoy lunch at your owne expense at one of our favorite places along this stretch of road.

Today's Adventure: Upper and Lower Exploration of Bryce Canyon

Today, we enjoy exploring Bryce Canyon National Park. Discover the "Hudus," and then enjoy time on the rim or explore the canyon with the Journey Tour Director. We'll enjoy time for lunch at our own expense before continuing to Springdale, our home for the next two days.

DAY 6: ZION NATIONAL PARK SIGHTSEEING EXPLORATION

You may walk with the Journey Tour Director today through the park or you may explore at your leisure. Zion National Park features a great shuttle system that can whisk you along through the many stops very efficiently.

Enjoy the day at leisure.

DAY 7: GRAND CANYON

Today we will pass through several different eco zones as we gain around 6000 feet in elevation on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

We'll check into our hotel, and then enjoy some free time until sunset at the Grand Canyon.

DAY 8: GRAND CANYON SIGHTSEEING & EXPLORATION

Today's Adventure:  Grand Canyon Tour
Our expert guide provides exceptional commentary as you explore the beautiful Grand Canyon. Enjoy a guided walk along the South Rim as you learn about the geologic and botanic aspects of this amazing canyon complex. You will have the option (at no additional cost) to descend below the rim along the Bright Angel Trail as you walk in the footsteps of prehistoric Native Americans. This is rated an "easy trail" that goes far below the rim. There are 2 turn-around points along the way which can make this hike 3 or 6 miles round-trip. This is a fantastic option for those who want to push themselves a bit into the Grand Canyon but would like the amenities of water, bathrooms and shade to be available every once in a while. You may opt to separate and explore on your own today as well.

We return to the hotel afterwards for the balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 9: ROUTE '66, LAS VEGAS

This morning we will make our way to Seligman, Arizona, which was a favorite stopping point on Route '66 and considered the 'birthplace' of the route. You can take in view of the original motels, along with the historic general store. It's Americana at its finest!

We arrive in Las Vegas mid to late afternoon for time at leisure before our Farewell Event tonight.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE DAY

We say 'See You Later' to Vegas and America's Canyonlands Tour this morning. Opt for our departure transfer ($55 per person) to the airport or make your own way.
