Our complete itinerary for your consideration: Our Journey begins in Genoa with an included Meet & Greet with Arrival Transfer to the Cinque Terre, enjoy 3 days and nights in Monterossa al Mare. Then you're off to the Lake Como and the jewel of Bellagio to enjoy 3 days and nights. The following itinerary features our Deluxe or Classic hotels as described. Hotel rooms can be upgraded to higher categories.

Cinque Terre: The Five Lands —  3 Days, 3 Nights

DAY 1: WELCOME TO THE CINQUE TERRE

Your Now Journey experience begins upon arrival to Genoa GOA Airport. Now Journey's approach to touring the Cinque Terre is unique: we combine local expert Italian Guides along with Deluxe or Classic Hotels for the perfect balance of activity, leisure time and experience, so you can truly soak up all that is Italy.

Discovery WalkGetting to Know the Cinque Terre: Enjoy your private Discovery Walk on Arrival Day
Our Discovery Walk is a hallmark of the Now Journey style of traveling when exploring new destinations —  a brief orientation walk with our Now Journey Local Host (not to be confused with our immersive Sightseeing Tour that occurs the next day with our licensed expert Italian Guide). We will embark on a leisurely stroll through Monterosso al Mare, where charming pastel-hued buildings line the narrow cobblestone streets, inviting you to explore the idyllic coastal town. As you walk, the rhythmic sounds of waves crashing against the rugged shoreline provide a soothing backdrop to the picturesque views of the Ligurian Sea.

DAY 2: EXPLORING THE CINQUE TERRE

Sightseeing IconToday's Adventure: Private Walking Tour 

This morning, meet our Local Guide and embark on the famous Sentiero Azzurro trail, which connects all five villages. Prefer to avoid hiking? No worries, we also have a walking version utilizing the Cinque Terre Train as well. Begin the Sentiero Azzurro trail towards Vernazza, soaking in panoramic views of the Ligurian Sea and vineyard-covered hills.

This afternoon we will arrive in Vernazza and savor a seafood-focused lunch at one of the waterfront trattorias. Explore the charming streets and visit the iconic Vernazza Harbor with its colorful boats and the ancient Doria Castle. Don't forget to sample some local wines at a seaside enoteca.

We will head back to Monterosso al Mare for a relaxing evening. We recommend you enjoy a sunset aperitivo on the beach, followed by dinner at a traditional Ligurian restaurant. Try local specialties such as trofie al pesto (hand-rolled pasta with basil sauce) and stuffed anchovies.

DAY 3: RIOMAGGIORE & CORNIGLIA


Sightseeing IconToday's Adventure: Private Walking Tour 

This morning you will meet our Local guide and will take the Cinque Terre train to Riomaggiore, the southernmost village of the Cinque Terre. Explore the historic center, visit the Church of San Giovanni Battista, and stroll along the picturesque Via dell'Amore. Indulge in a morning coffee at a seaside cafe. 

This afternoon we catch the train to Corniglia, the only village not directly on the waterfront. Climb the charming stairway to reach the village center, and enjoy a relaxing lunch in the tranquil square. Take in the stunning views of terraced vineyards and the sea from the Belvedere.

We will return to Monterosso al Mare and spend your evening at Fegina Beach, where you can unwind, swim, or simply bask in the coastal atmosphere. We can suggest a beachfront restaurant for your final dinner, relishing in the flavors of Cinque Terre cuisine one last time before bidding farewell to this enchanting coastal paradise.

DAY 4: WELCOME TO BELLAGIO

This morning make your way to the train station for onward journey to Milan. Do you prefer a private driver to whisk you along the way? Inquire for rates. Upon arrival to Milano Centrale Train Station, our driver meets you and takes you to the heart of Lake Como, Bellagio.

DAY 5: EXPLORING LAKE COMO

Today, enjoy a walk through Bellagio and enjoy the sites and learn a bit about the history of the town and the lake with our Local Guide; Then meet our Captain Luca for your private boat tour of the lake to view the magnificent villas. Lago di Como is the third largest lake in Italy. At over 1320 feet deep it is one of the deepest lakes in Europe. The lake's name comes from the town of Como. On a clear day the spectacular Alps are visible across the lake.

Enjoy the balance of the afternoon and the evening at your leisure.
