Note: Japan is 16 to 17 hours ahead of US Pacific Time. Most international flights are 11–13 hours and cross the International Dateline, so plan accordingly to arrive on Day 1. Arrival for this journey is into Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND).

As you move through Tokyo, you’ll begin to feel what makes it so compelling — polished, efficient, stylish, and endlessly layered. The contrast between old and new is part of its magic.

The evening is yours to explore or join your Tour Captain for an optional dinner in one of Tokyo's hidden gem eateries.

Day 3: Tokyo — Tradition, Style & Everyday Life

Today's Adventure: Deeper Tokyo

Today allows us to experience Tokyo with a little more depth and breathing room. Expect a thoughtful blend of important sights, interesting neighborhoods, and those everyday details that often become favorite memories.

This is the kind of day that helps Tokyo come alive — not just as a major city, but as a living place full of rhythm, design, ritual, and surprise.

Your evening is open for personal exploration, shopping, or another wonderful meal tucked into one of Tokyo’s remarkable neighborhoods.

Day 4: Tokyo — Time to Enjoy More

Our final full day in Tokyo gives the city a bit of room to breathe. Depending on the day’s flow, this may be a chance for additional sightseeing, independent exploring, a slower morning, or revisiting a favorite district.

This extra time is part of what makes the journey feel more relaxed and refined. Rather than rushing onward, we allow Tokyo to unfold more naturally.

Tonight, rest well — tomorrow we leave the capital behind and journey into the mountain beauty of Hakone.
