DAY 1: WELCOME TO THURSDAY IN VENICE • FEBRUARY 27, 2025

The adventure begins upon arrival to Marco Polo Airport in Venice with our included Airport Arrival Transfer as we whisk you across the Lagoon of Venice to our hotel on San Marco.

Your Now Journey experience begins upon arrival to Marco Polo Airport in Venice. Arrive at our hotels, check-in, freshen up and meet later today for our Welcome Experience tonight in Venice.

Il Ballo del Doge — Preparing for Carnivale for the evening of Saturday, March 1, 2025

For most it's a once in a lifetime experience: the splendor of Venice Carnivale. We've made your trip to Venice easy for you with these optional experiences and services to celebrate tomorrow evening, on Saturday, March 1st.

For those of you planning to attend Il Ballo del Doge on Saturday evening you may choose to have your Haute Couture Period Costume fitted today. The Ball admission, dinner and experience as well as your Period Costumes are optional for your consideration. We will be happy to book your ticket for the Ball. You are responsible for your Period Costume.

The Ball of the Doge

DAY 3: SATURDAY IN VENICE • MARCH 1, 2025

Today is set aside for you to enjoy Venice and prepare for an absolute wonderful evening celebrating Carnival at Il Ballo del Doge! The admission, dinner, show and experiences are provided optionally below for your consideration. Once you've decided, contact us and we'll book the tickets. Remember, we're wanting to book all tickets to ensure availability by May, 1, 2024 (that's not a lot of time so don't put it off!).

You have 5 choices of tickets with the difference being the position of the section tables. Section A is the one in front of the stage. Your Tour Captain Hosts will be in *Section D. All sections below include the full experience of Il Ballo del Doge featuring:

Awe inspiring overture show with welcome cocktail
Gala dinner
Great show of Il Ballo del Doge, an uninterrupted series of breathtaking performances, in a crescendo of emotions
After party, with DJ sets and open bar and further artistic performances

Supreme Section: $5000 euro per person ($5594 per person)
Section A: €3500 euro per person ($3850 per person)

Guests and Tour Captains will walk over to the Ball together. Once at the Ball you may enjoy the festivities freely as described. Guests will make their own way back to the hotel later that evening (or early morning!).

DAY 4: SUNDAY IN VENICE • MARCH 2, 2025

Today enjoy at your leisure.

Special Evening of Fun
Gather with your Tour Captain Hosts for an elegant afternoon reception, filled with heartfelt memories and shared laughter, as we bid adieu to Venice on our final night together. Then, indulge in a sumptuous farewell dinner, celebrating the bonds we've formed and the unforgettable experiences we've shared during our time in this mesmerizing city. 🥂🍽️✨

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY: Arrivederci Italy! • MARCH 3, 2025

Breakfast is included this morning should you have time before your departure. Departure transfers are included on this special Journey.

Prices are per person in US Dollars and based on 2 guests in a room. International airfare is not included. Solo Supplement in Deluxe $940. Classic Solo: $440. Lotus Solo: $3400. Choose from Deluxe, Classic or Lotus Packages. When booking Il Ballo del Doge, full payment is due and is non-refundable. Classic dinner upgrade is $390 per person.

How active are Journey Tours?

Our pace for sightseeing is leisurely with ample opportunity to stop and even opt out should a guest desire to do so. We walk about 45 to 90 minutes per day on our sightseeing tours on average.

What amount of leisure time is there on a Journey Tour?

Yes, Journey features a Slow Travel concept on most of our trips with most sightseeing occurring in the mornings and the afternoons at leisure.

How many guests are on a Journey Tour?

Our tours feature up to 16 guests — unlike most tour companies which feature an average of 35 to 44 guests!
