Descend into the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, a vast natural sanctuary where wildlife gathers against a backdrop unlike anywhere else in Africa.

Travel slowly through the crater with your guide, watching for elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest and the many other animals that make this remarkable ecosystem their home.

Later, continue toward the Serengeti as the landscape opens into seemingly endless plains. Arrive at camp in time to settle in and enjoy your first evening in the heart of the wild.

Set out with your guide as the Serengeti awakens around you. Open grasslands, acacia woodlands, riverine areas and ancient rocky kopjes create habitats for an extraordinary variety of wildlife.

The day follows the natural rhythm of the plains rather than a rigid schedule. When something remarkable appears, there is time to stop—to watch, listen, photograph and appreciate the moment without rushing onward.

Return to camp as evening settles over the Serengeti and gather for dinner beneath the expansive African sky.

Another full day in the central Serengeti allows you to experience the landscape without feeling hurried.

Your guide will shape the day around local wildlife activity and the interests of the group. You may linger near a pride of lions, follow elephants moving across the plains or simply pause to enjoy the quiet beauty of the surroundings.

Between game drives, return to camp to relax, enjoy a meal and absorb the atmosphere of life in the bush.

In the morning, transfer to the airstrip for a regional safari flight into the northern Serengeti.

Flying saves many hours of overland travel while offering a memorable view of Tanzania’s immense wilderness from above. On arrival, meet your guide and continue through rolling plains and river country toward your next camp.

Settle into your northern Serengeti home for the next three nights, with time to relax before dinner and the adventures still ahead.

Explore the dramatic landscapes surrounding the Mara River, one of the most important wildlife corridors in the northern Serengeti.

Your guide will use current conditions and wildlife movements to shape the day, searching for the animals that gather throughout this remote region. While no particular sighting or river crossing can ever be guaranteed, the experience of exploring this legendary landscape is unforgettable in its own right.

Return to camp with time to unwind, share stories from the day and enjoy another evening in the bush.

Your final full day in the northern Serengeti is intentionally left open to possibility.

Guests choosing the optional balloon safari can float above the plains at sunrise. Later, return to favorite areas, follow fresh wildlife activity or explore a new corner of the northern plains with your guide, with time to watch and photograph whatever the day reveals.

That evening, gather for a special farewell dinner and celebrate the experiences, discoveries and friendships shared along the way.

When flight timing permits, enjoy one final game drive before leaving the northern Serengeti and transferring to the airstrip for your safari flight back to Arusha.

An included day room provides time to freshen up, rest and prepare comfortably for your journey home. Later, your included transfer takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
