Chapter One · Days 1–3 · 3 nights
The Journey opens with Saint-Germain atmosphere, local experts, iconic art and architecture—and time to experience Paris beyond the checklist.
Arrive in Paris and settle into the Saint-Germain chapter. Your Tour Captain welcomes you at the hotel and introduces the practical rhythms of the Journey on a Discovery Walk before the group gathers for a Welcome to Paris dinner.
Explore Paris with a local expert, including Notre Dame and the city’s historic heart. An included Eiffel Tower experience is planned; because access is controlled locally, timing is confirmed for each departure.
A local expert leads the Louvre visit, bringing context to signature works before the afternoon opens for your own Paris. Later, gather for a special farewell-to-Paris aperitif.
Chapter Two · Days 4–6 · 3 nights
Paris gives way to Roman history, vineyard country, château atmosphere and the slower light of southern France.
Leave Paris by high-speed rail and travel into Provence. Settle into the Now Journey-selected hotel base for your departure—either a countryside château-style setting or the Avignon area—and let the pace soften.
Travel through the Provençal countryside for the Roman engineering of Pont du Gard and the wine-country atmosphere of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with local context that connects the landscape to its history.

Enjoy the Provençal setting at a slower pace, with time centered on your hotel base. Ask about an optional Avignon and Palais des Papes visit. Rejoin the group for a farewell-to-Provence aperitif.
Chapter Three · Days 7–9 · 2 nights
The Journey turns toward the blue coast for an art-filled hill village, Old Nice and a final Mediterranean evening.
Travel with the group toward the Côte d’Azur and pause in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, where cobbled lanes and galleries introduce the region’s artistic side. Continue to Nice for a Tour Captain-led Discovery Walk and welcome dinner.
Explore Nice on foot, from the Promenade des Anglais into the lanes and markets of the Old Town. The balance of the day is yours before a special finale aperitif by the Mediterranean.
The core Journey concludes in Nice. Depart for Nice Airport or continue independently on the Riviera; your proposal will clarify any separately arranged transfer or added nights.

Well-selected 3-star-plus hotels and château-style properties where appropriate, chosen for comfort and a useful connection to place. Breakfast is included. Your proposal will include the specific Classic hotels available for your selected departure.
Selected 4-plus to 5-star properties, generally using room categories just above standard or similar. Ask your Trip Specialist about larger rooms, higher categories or a specific view where available. Breakfast is included.
Hotel Pont Royal, Hôtel Dame des Arts or a comparable Now Journey-selected property.
Hôtel d’Europe, a Provence countryside château or a comparable Now Journey-selected property.
Hotel Le Negresco, Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée or a comparable Now Journey-selected property.
Hotels are subject to availability and may be replaced with comparable Now Journey-selected properties. Classic hotels will be confirmed in your proposal so Deluxe properties are never implied to be part of Classic pricing.

Now Journey groups typically include 8–12 guests, with a maximum of 16.
No. The Journey is designed around a true small group and appropriately sized transportation rather than large motorcoaches.
Most sightseeing is comfortably paced, with periods of walking throughout the day, frequent pauses and opportunities to opt out when appropriate. Historic streets, museums and village lanes may involve uneven surfaces, stairs and extended time on foot.
Classic uses well-selected 3-star-plus hotels and château-style properties where appropriate. Deluxe uses selected 4-plus to 5-star properties and elevated room-category approaches.
Airport transfers are not included unless specifically listed in your proposal. Your Trip Specialist can help arrange them separately.
Yes. Both are optional pre-tour possibilities, separately arranged and priced, and are not part of the nine-day core Journey.
