DAY 1: Bienvenue to Paris
Upon arrival in Paris, clear customs and meet your included transfer to the hotel in the heart of Saint-Germain. Settle in, unpack, and begin easing into the rhythm of the city.
This evening, gather with your Tour Captain and fellow travelers for a festive Welcome Dinner — the official beginning of your Paris Christmas chapter.
Welcome to Paris Dinner: A special dining event tonight
We make our way to one of our favorite restaurants in Paris, where French cuisine, warm conversation, delicious wines, and premium beverages are all part of the Now Journey welcome.
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Tonight, Paris begins to reveal herself in winter light. Saint-Germain glows with shop windows, café terraces, festive garlands, and the unmistakable feeling that something beautiful is waiting just around the corner.
Where We Stay in Paris: 4 Nights with Breakfast
Our Now Journey Hotels Collection: Hotel Montalembert, Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain, Hotel Bel Ami, or Similar
Our hotels feature 4-star to 5-star properties with select room categories generally above the standard entry-level room, where available. Please inquire with your Trip Specialist if you would like to request a larger room, upper-category room, or specific view. Hotel assignments are typically finalized approximately 60 days prior to the adventure. Comparable hotels may be used if space is sold out by the time you book, and final hotel details are generally advised 20-30 days before departure.
During Christmas time, Saint-Germain-des-Prés becomes one of Paris' most charming winter neighborhoods — elegant, intimate, walkable, and filled with the spirit of Parisian Noël.
DAY 2: Champs-Élysées Christmas Lights & Paris Holiday Traditions
Today's Adventure: Paris Christmas Traditions
We begin our day with the festive spirit of Paris in the holiday season. Stroll along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, admire the decorated storefronts and seasonal lights, and enjoy the atmosphere that makes Paris feel especially cinematic in December.
Depending on confirmed seasonal market locations and local schedules, your Tour Captain will guide you toward the best available Christmas market atmosphere of the moment — from artisan gifts and festive treats to winter lights and Parisian holiday traditions.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This is your time to shop, visit a museum, linger in a café, return to a favorite neighborhood, or simply enjoy Paris without rushing.
Suggested for Tonight: Consider a Christmas concert, ballet, theater performance, or evening stroll through the city's illuminated streets. Paris after dark in December is part of the experience.
Tonight, join the Tour Captain for an optional dinner or explore at your leisure.
DAY 3: Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur
Today's Adventure:
Venture with our guide to Montmartre, the village-like neighborhood that still carries the spirit of artists, poets, cafés, and old Paris.
Begin near the foot of Sacré-Cœur, where the winter setting creates a beautiful backdrop for exploring the lanes, stairways, viewpoints, and festive corners of this beloved neighborhood. Climb toward the basilica for sweeping views across Paris, made even more magical by the season.
Afterward, enjoy the balance of your day at leisure. You might stay in Montmartre for lunch, browse boutiques, visit a museum, return to Saint-Germain, or settle into a café and watch Paris pass by.
Tonight, enjoy Paris at your leisure. We will be happy to share dinner recommendations based on your tastes.
DAY 4: A Day at Leisure | Options: Le Marais, Île de la Cité, Versailles, or La Défense Christmas Market
Today's Adventure:
Enjoy today at leisure, or choose from optional experiences that may include Versailles, Le Marais, Île de la Cité, or the La Défense Christmas Market, depending on interest and confirmed seasonal schedules.
For those exploring with the Tour Captain, cross the Seine toward Île de la Cité, the historic heart of Paris. Continue through atmospheric streets, winter light, artisan shops, cafés, and the timeless presence of Notre-Dame.
Le Marais offers another beautiful Paris chapter — stylish boutiques, Jewish and medieval history, elegant squares, galleries, and an unmistakable neighborhood energy that feels especially inviting during the holidays.
Farewell to Paris Dinner
As evening falls, join your local Tour Captain for a festive Farewell Dinner at one of our cherished Paris restaurants. Together, we say au revoir to Paris — for now — and toast a beautiful Christmas season.
DAY 5: Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, spend your final morning in Paris soaking up the atmosphere one last time.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel or perhaps one final café or bakery visit nearby. A warm croissant, a quiet street, and a last glance at Paris in winter light — sometimes the simple moments become the ones you remember most.
Check out of your hotel and head to the airport with your included departure transfer, taking with you the memory of a magical Christmas holiday in Paris.
