Historic Berlin

Fast train to Prague

Plan & Prepare

What to expect across four capitals.

Daily walking

Plan for approximately 45–90 minutes of guided walking on many sightseeing days, plus additional walking during leisure time and between meeting points.

Historic surfaces

Berlin, Prague, Krakow and Budapest include cobblestones, stairs, uneven paving, curbs and active historic city centers. Comfortable, stable walking shoes are important.

Rail and airport transitions

Berlin–Prague is by fast train; Prague–Krakow and Krakow–Budapest use required regional flights. Stations and airports may involve extended corridors, security lines and changes in level.

Luggage responsibility

Portage is included where stated, but guests should be prepared to roll or handle their own luggage and personal items at rail stations, airports and transfer points.

Optional depth

Reichstag, Sachsenhausen, the Salt Mine, Auschwitz-Birkenau, spas and Parliament are optional and subject to availability. The Salt Mine involves approximately 800 steps before an elevator return.
