Three nights in the capital
The October 2026 operating foundation used Reykjavík Residence Hotel for guests, with room category, building, breakfast and vehicle access coordinated before arrival.
Now Journey Iceland
Six days shaped by fire, ice and the North Atlantic.
Reykjavík → South Coast → Glacier Country → Golden Circle → Reykjavík
No obligation. No pressure. Every request is personally reviewed.
A powerful introduction to Iceland
This journey follows the operating foundation of Now Journey’s October 2026 Iceland program: Reykjavík, the South Coast, glacier country, the Golden Circle, Sky Lagoon and Blue Lagoon.
Your Tour Captain coordinates the days while experienced Icelandic drivers and specialist activity guides bring local conditions, geology and landscapes into focus. The route is intentionally compact, leaving room to respond responsibly when Iceland changes the plan.
Journey at a glance
The complete journey
Each day preserves the October 2026 operating framework while allowing qualified local partners to make safe, practical adjustments.
Arrive at Keflavík International Airport and meet your dedicated transfer into Reykjavík. Luggage is cared for while the journey begins with a reserved Sky Lagoon experience overlooking the North Atlantic.
After time to settle in, gather with your Tour Captain for a welcome dinner and the first chapter of your Iceland story.
Travel east with your Tour Captain and local driver, pausing where conditions allow at the waterfalls and viewpoints that define Iceland’s South Coast. Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss lead toward the black sands and basalt landscapes near Vík.
Arrive at the South Coast hotel for two nights. The day is paced around weather, daylight, comfort stops and the driver’s route assessment.
Journey deeper into glacier country for land-based views around Fjallsárlón, Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach when road and weather conditions support the full route. A confirmed seasonal glacier activity may be incorporated only after the specialist operator approves access and suitability.
When the longer route is not advisable, the Tour Captain may activate a closer Vík-area program, including a specialist Katla Ice Cave experience when approved by the operator. The alternatives protect the spirit of the day without treating Iceland’s conditions as predictable.
Leave the South Coast and arc toward Reykjavík through Iceland’s celebrated Golden Circle. Stand near the thundering Gullfoss waterfall, watch the geothermal landscape around Geysir and Strokkur, and walk through the cultural and geological story of Þingvellir National Park.
The day’s order is coordinated around conditions, daylight and the planned lunch stop before returning to Reykjavík.
Enjoy a relaxed Reykjavík morning before a reserved Blue Lagoon experience, subject to official access and site operation. Warm mineral waters and the surrounding lava field create a restorative final afternoon.
Return with time to change before a farewell dinner celebrating the landscapes, stories and shared moments of the journey.
Your Tour Captain coordinates the transfer to Keflavík International Airport around the confirmed flight schedule, passenger list, luggage needs and seasonal travel allowance.
As the lava fields fade from view, Iceland’s waterfalls, glaciers and geothermal warmth travel home with you.

Optional experience
Ask your Journey Designer about adding a glacier helicopter experience to your proposal. It is not included in the base journey and is never assumed to operate.
Travel well prepared
Official weather, road and civil-protection guidance shape each day. Closed roads and specialist decisions are respected without exception.
Experienced drivers and specialist guides assess routes, glacier access and outdoor conditions while your Tour Captain coordinates the complete journey.
Plans A, B and C protect comfort, safety and the spirit of discovery when an exposed route or activity cannot operate.
Plan & prepare
No. This is Now Journey’s six-day hosted small group Iceland journey. The existing Private Luxury Retreat remains a separate private-tour option.
Expect uneven outdoor terrain, cold, rain, wind, steps and periods of standing, along with substantial driving on the glacier-country day. Tell us about mobility needs before requesting a proposal so the team can discuss suitability.
Yes. Iceland’s weather, roads and natural environment can change quickly. The Tour Captain, local driver, specialist operator and public authorities each have defined safety roles. A stop may be shortened, replaced or cancelled.
DELUXE is the only Hotels Collection offered for this journey and the only collection shown in its proposal flow.
No. The hotel section identifies the October 2026 operating foundation. Future property, room category, breakfast and tax details are confirmed in the personalized proposal. Comparable Deluxe properties may be used.
No. It is an optional request. Weather, supplier approval, routing, landing conditions, availability and price must all be confirmed before it can be added.
