DAY 1: ROCKY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE BEGINS
Make your arrival to Denver International Airport, gateway to America’s Rocky Mountains. Upon arrival, meet our representative for our included Meet-and-Greet and Arrival Transfer to our Denver hotel. Once arrived, you may check-in to your room (rooms are typically ready after 2pm) and freshen up before you meet your Journey Tour Captain for a very special welcome to the Mile High City.

Meet your Tour Captain for a discovery walk through downtown Denver and learn about the fascinating history and stories of this amazing city.
Welcome to Denver Dinner
Your Tour Captain will select a variety of appetizers, featuring regional cuisine, and will select your wine for the evening (or if you prefer alcohol-free beverages we've got great offerings!). Then you will be presented with the restaurant's primary menu. It's an intentionally relaxed evening of delight so you can savor the experience. Welcome to Colorado!

DAY 2: BOUND FOR THE ROCKIES

Today's Adventure: Rocky Mountains
We head west into the Rocky Mountains and make our way to Buena Vista, which is translated as Good View for good reason: The Collegiate Peaks are dominant on the landscape and welcome us with open arms. We arrive at Buena Vista and enjoy some time for lunch at your leisure while exploring the historic downtown.
After a visit we make our way to our home for the next 2 nights camping in the amazing wilderness that is the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

DAY 3: THE ASCENT
Enjoy breakfast in the fresh mountain air and then we're off for an adventure.
Today's Adventure: Four Wheel Drive Jeep® & Hiking
Today we take our 4WD Jeeps up to an authentic Colorado Ghost Town with time to look around this historic town, followed by a 4WD Jeep Adventure up Tincup Pass or Hancock Pass. It's an amazing feat to see how well the Jeeps are able to navigate over the many rocks of the American Rocky Mountains!

About the SAN ISABEL NATIONAL FOREST
The Salida Ranger District is part of the San Isabel National Forest located near Buena Vista, Colorado. The district encompasses over 440,000 acres in central Colorado considered "the very heart of the Rockies." It's an outdoor recreation paradise that encompasses seven 14,000-foot peaks referred to as "fourteeners," which include Harvard, Tabeguache, Yale, Columbia, Shavano, Princeton, and Antero. There are also three wilderness areas including the Buffalo Peaks, Collegiate Peaks, and Sangre De Cristo, and the district also includes Browns Canyon National Monument. Amazing!

DAY 4: CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
Today's Adventure: Panoramic Hike
We're off early to a beautiful hike complete with high alpine lakes and views.

The Adventure Continues: ON TO VAIL MOUNTAIN
After our morning adventure, we make our way to the modern mountain resort town of Vail, Colorado. Welcome to Vail After checking in, enjoy the facilities at our hotels and the balance of your day at leisure. We recommend booking activities this afternoon in advance, or simply enjoy the pool. You may opt for spa treatments, hiking, downhill mountain biking, 4WD adventures and more or simply soak up the sun by the pool.
