PRE 1: MELBOURNE, THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Welcome to Melbourne. Upon arrival you will meet our driver for included transfer to the heart of Melboune, our home for the next 3 days and 3 nights. This is the Tour Commencement Day: You will depart from North America two days earlier. Example: May 1: Depart USA and arrive Melbourne on May 3rd — two days later. This is because you "lose a day" crossing the International Dateline.

Australian Travel Visa: Your Responsibility
When traveling to Australia from the USA or Canada, you will need a valid passport and a visa to enter. Most U.S. & Canada passport holders traveling to Australia for tourism or business purposes for less than 90 days can obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). What's the difference between Deluxe and Classic?

Deluxe package includes a full, hot daily breakfast (table service or buffet), 5 of the 9 dinners and 4+ to 5 Star hotel properties featuring large, air-conditioned guestrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Classic package includes a daily breakfast, Venice Welcome Dinner (guests may upgrade to the total 5 dinners included for $390 per person), and 3 to 4 Star hotel properties featuring air-conditioned guestrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

How active are Journey Tours?

Our pace for sightseeing is leisurely with ample opportunity to stop and even opt out should a guest desire to do so. We walk about 45 to 90 minutes per day on our sightseeing tours on average.

What amount of leisure time is there on a Journey Tour?

Yes, Journey features a Slow Travel concept on most of our trips with most sightseeing occurring in the mornings and the afternoons at leisure.
