Our exciting adventure begins upon arrival to the airport where, after clearing customs, you'll be greeted by our representative for a hassle-free transfer to our hotel in the heart of Split. Rooms are ready around 3pm in most instances. Upon arrival, check in, freshen up and enjoy some leisurely time before we gather later this afternoon.

Enjoy our guided walking tour starting at the iconic Diocletian's Palace, a World Heritage Site. Explore its ancient alleys and impressive architecture, including the Cathedral of Saint Domnius and the Peristyle Square, with admission included. Next, we will stroll along the Riva promenade, soaking in views of the Adriatic Sea, before visiting the vibrant Green Market to experience local flavors and culture. Entrance to the market is free, allowing you to sample fresh produce and traditional delicacies.
We will conclude our tour with a visit to Marjan Hill, a lush park offering panoramic views of Split and its surroundings.
The balance of your day is at leisure. After your morning walking tour, you might consider spending the afternoon exploring the vibrant Riva promenade, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many waterfront cafes while soaking in views of the Adriatic. For a deeper dive into Split's history, visit the Split Archaeological Museum, home to fascinating artifacts from ancient times. Or, if you’re in the mood for relaxation, head to Bačvice Beach, a popular spot where you can unwind, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or join the locals in a game of picigin, a traditional beach sport.

After breakfast, we make our way to the enchanting Hvar Island by ferry. Over the next two days and nights, we’ll immerse ourselves in the island’s stunning beauty and vibrant culture. Our time here includes an exclusive Winery Experience, where we’ll savor local wines and explore the rich viticultural heritage of this magnificent island.

Hvar Island, often hailed as the "Queen of the Dalmatian Islands," is a true gem of the Adriatic. Renowned for its crystalline waters, sun-soaked vineyards, and fragrant lavender fields, Hvar blends natural beauty with rich history and vibrant culture. The island's main town captivates with its medieval stone streets, historic landmarks like the Hvar Fortress, and sweeping views of the Adriatic. Known for its luxury, from elegant beach clubs to sophisticated nightlife, Hvar also offers serene escapes in its tranquil coves and rustic villages, embodying a perfect harmony of elegance and authenticity.
Discovering Hvar: Upon arriving on Hvar Island, we board our vehicle for a day of exploration. Our Journey begins in the historic town of Stari Grad, where we stroll through ancient cobblestone streets and visit the World Heritage-listed Stari Grad Plain, reflecting the island's rich agricultural past. We then head to Velo Grablje, a charming hilltop village with panoramic views, where we learn about the island’s lavender traditions.
Now Journey Exclusive: Our adventure continues to Jelsa, where we indulge in an exclusive wine tasting at a renowned local winery. Here, we sample a variety of wines expertly paired with delicious morsels, offering a true taste of Hvar’s culinary heritage. After a day filled with discovery and delight, we return to our accommodations to unwind or further explore the island at our leisure.
We return to our hotel for some leisure time before gathering tonight for dinner on the island.
Welcome Dinner: We enjoy dinner together with the Tour Captain back in town after our wonderful day exploring Hvar. Hvar Island’s cuisine shares much with the Dalmatian coast, emphasizing fresh seafood, olive oil, and Mediterranean herbs, but it also boasts unique local touches. The island’s fertile land produces distinctive ingredients like wild herbs, lavender, and honey, which add unique flavors to dishes. Hvar’s wines, particularly the native Plavac Mali, complement the cuisine perfectly. While rooted in Mediterranean tradition, Hvar’s cuisine stands out with its use of fragrant local herbs and spices, offering a distinct culinary experience compared to the mainland.
